I'm using Nero Express 7 and I'm trying to burn a torrent file to a CR-r
but getting error messages when clicking on Burn "unexpected exception" and "an unsupported operation was attemped"???
I know this can be done...can anyone show me the proper steps?

Hi.

Torrent file doesn't tell us much. Is this an AVI, DivX, bin, or what type of file? Do you have a folder full of files or what?

In Nero Express:

Select as the recorder: your burner cd-r/rw
Select Disk Image or Saved Project.
Locate, select, and open the .cue file.
Set the write speed and click the Next button.

Here's a rudimentary guide for doing it with Nero Burning ROM:

Double click the image/cue (same thing) file and Nero burning rom should open up. Insert an empty disc and burn.

It can't be that easy!
I did double click on que file and it did open Nero Burning ROM but what do I do next? I get a blank burn compilation screen when I try to add file?

That makes no sense, the file should automatically be uploaded to Nero to burn.

Here are my steps:
I download a movie from a torrent site into Bit Comet (which I can immediately play on pc with VLC player)...then I open Nero Burning ROM...click on Recorder....choose Burn Image...locate file in Bit Comet...click on it...open...then I get a blank Burn Compilation screen?
This is where I get hung up.

I gave you instruction above for using either Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM.

Try finding the file first before opening up Nero. Double click and Nero should open up automatically.

I think the part I'm missing in all of this is if the files downloaded into my bit client are in rar (r01, r02 etc) should I be extracting them first before I can do anything like burning?

Double click one of the rar files and you should then get an image of whatever the rar files contained. It'll probably be bin and cue files but could also be an AVI or DivX file.

Thanks, but nothing happens when I double click on it. In WinRAR it shows file type as img.
I tried to extract but after 2 hours I get message saying file is corrupt and not enough disk space?
When a file has 94 separate files of 47MB how do you play it on VVCL?
It only wants to play one file at a time.

If the file is corrupt, it's corrupt and there's nothing you can do about it. Do you have enough disk space to contain the expanded files. Usually when you doubl click on one of the files you'll see the main files that the rar components represent. You can then drag these main files to your Desktop and WinRAR will extract them. It shouldn't take 2 hours to do so, so maybe the files are corrupt.
