I was following the directions from that sticky and I typed in the numbers. Then I entered admin for pass and user name and keeps on asking me the username and pass. What am I doing wrong?

Give admin as the username and your isp password as the password a try. Shouldn't work that way but it's all that does for me.

if it is a linksys router, leaving the name blank and entering "admin" for the password, minus the quotes, is the login.

Beyond that, hold down the reset button until all lights blink, then let it go, about 10 seconds.

Then try again.
