you want devhook. download the devhook 0.46 ultimate installer from psp-hacks.com in teh download section, under loaders. just connect your psp to your comp and run the exe. then copy and paste the ISO into the ISO folder in the root of your mem stick. run devhook, then select your iso by pressing home+right trigger and you're set.

yes. you need a psp that is version 1.5 . you can go to tools system settings> system info. it'll tell you what version you have. if you have anything up to 2.6, you could potentially downgrade. the only complication is taht if you have a ta-082 mobo, you cant downgrade. to find out if you do, look at the motherboard sticky at the top of the page.

the guy I bought the memory stick from gave me a cd with some instructions I will post the instructions and tell me what all this means please. Thanks in advance...btw I have the version back to 1.5 by doing a reset as to instructions.
Note: When using Games Loader your PSP will become version 2.60.
To restart to its original state press and hold Power button for 10 second.
And remember when you see the green light blinking do not pull out the battery
or cut off the power supply.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- On PC go to Loader folder.
- Copy dh, ISO and PSP folder to memory stick.
- Copy game from GAMES folder to ISO folder on memory stick.
- From PSP go to Memory stick, select "Games Loader" program, your psp will restart.
- Go to UMD Disc and select your game by pressing Home+Left/Right Trigger.

first tell me what version psp you have. then format your mem stick. if it is 2.6 downgrade using my previous instructions. if its 1.5 , download this:http://www.psp-hacks.com/2006/07/29/devhook-v046-ultimate-installer/ run the exe and connect your psp to your computer. follow the onscreen instructions and voila... you have devhook. now just drag and drop your iso's into the ISO folder in the root of your ms. then unplug your psp and go to the game menu on the menu. select devhook. select your iso and put a umd in the drive. your iso will show up like a umd would. just select and have fun.

sounds like you put your psp to sleep and are trying to start devhook while emulating 2.71. hold the power button up for 10 secs. retry devhook and post results.

UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.
Those settings will work for devhook .44/.45.

.46 the settings are all set for you. I prefer .45 because there is no flashing with it. I would say use .45 until u get comfortable with devhook then try .46. Some people would argue otherwise but its all personal preference.
