pspshot help please

i have the screenshot taking program and i want to take a photo of my home menu (to show off my font) but when i open the psp shot prog it comes up with a menu saying press start to start the xmb
then select to start umd
triangle to reload homebrew program
press note to take a screenshot
press square to enable usb
press L and R to exit and return to original system menu
press home to exit program now
which one of these do i go for to get back to the menu bcos when i press L and R nothing happens it stays the exact same with the psp shot menu still up. and is the note button the one to the left of the select button?

I have the screenshotbmp.prx module for use w/ DevHook v0.44 and it doesn't work for taking screenshots while in XMB. (Main menu) I tried this yesterday to show my font to some ppl and started getting pissed off thinking it didn't work anymore. I thought it was the result of adding Saturne's vshex mod. But nope; I tried it later and it worked. So I am guessing you can't take screenshots in XMB w/ ANY of the screenshot mods.

Hey, HODGINS!!! AAAAAAAAAA!!!! wassup, homie? That's good to know you can take XMB photos w/ IrShell, but can you use IrShell w/ DevHook? Last time I heard, you couldn't. Not a big deal tho. Either way, he gets to take screenshots of one of the many XMBs. I liked PSPshot. It worked on everything. I wish they could do that w/ DevHook. Right now (as I think mentioned above) you can only take pics in-game w/ that screenshotbmp.prx.

NO, I don't use PSPshot. I was just putting in my vote for PSPshot; I was just saying it's a good app. (I guess b/c I can actually get it to work - LOL. You know how I am) Anyway, I just use that PRX file by that dude. screenshotbmp.prx and that's it. Since I'm in DevHook all the time anyway, that's all I need. For a while, I thot taking screenshots was stupid, but never realised that the screenshot mod is to be used while on a constant lookout for new walls.
Btw, I got a new job, hodgins. I'll be working at Auto Europe, which is a car reservation place for ppl who are on vacation. With this job, I might be able to transfer with it to Europe, which is where I've always wanted to go. In about a year this could happen. I would love to live in Europe. I'll be sure to look you up! :p

You're right, I won't. Sorry. I only had that much time before b/c I had to be at work, but had nothing to do. So I had no choice but to be on the net and what better place to be than here? I will stop by when I can, but it sucks - everytime I stop by here now, there is virtually nothing going on and I'm tired of answering the same old questions n00bs ask. It's like these types of sites (forums) only really come alive after a great new release like DevHook or Custom FW. :|

guano, with screenshotbmp.prx you can do pictures of the xmb in 2.71 if you add the lines to config txt that's doesn't say game, i don't know the titles off the top of my head, but search DH for *.txt and just add the line to the txt's in 2.71 folder.
