I think its an essential program for dabbling in p2p regardless of what you do, remember it's essential, I love it to bit's :-D

There are some other options for you if you don't like PG2 for some reason, like Protowall.

Run PG2 when your d/l'ing torrents or when running any kind of file sharing app, to be a little safer, every little helps.
