hellllo,
I might be purchaseing a white psp off ebay
are they the same as the black originals? do they have n e disadvantages or what... can they place all psp games...like gta VCS when it comes out and browse web?~?

White PSPs are almost the same with the black ones, I've heard about some screen brightness differences (White one is brighter)
White ones also have a TA-082 motherboard more likely than the Black ones, as far as I've heard. If you got some questions about the TA-082, use the search option of this site :)

I'm looking forward to getting a White PSP. I'm just wandering where your getting a White PSP. I see places that have at $250. I don't buy things off of Ebay though.

Also should buy the Giga pack or the value pack? They're white PSP. Is the 1 gig stick obsolete or is it well suited for multimedia. I have a 60 gig iPod and i can't imagine being stuck with 1 gig.

I have a 2gig and a 1gig...with the one gig its amazing how u learn to fit stuff on there. I had a .iso, a few albums and music videos and a shitload of homebrew on my 1gig before i got the 2gig and it did me fine. You just learn to put on the music you will listen too...not just music for the hell of it. I have a 30gb vpod and have 10gig worth of music and only listen to 40-50 songs.

Well i won't be putting movies or photos because i heard it's hard and a pain to sync it in. Is there going to be software coming soon that allows it to sync easier kind of like iTunes does for the iPod. And my iPod was full once but then it froze, so i had to delete some of the stuff and now i down to 30 gigs.

hard?? dude its just copy and paste into the respective folders lol. Movies need to be encoded, but pspvideo9 is really easy to use and also comes with a function that copies it to the right folder on your psp for ya...

I might opt to a refurbished PSP. What can I expect from refurbished PSP? It's only $160 after rebate and then i would need to pick up a 1 gig stick.

i have a white psp i was scared at first because of the whole japanese thing, but after updating it to an american firmware everything is americanized. ive had it play american dvd umd's, without a problem, although i usually bootleg all the movies i watch for psp. definatly get the gigapack its cheaper than buying a psp and a memory stick, at least thats what i have come to realize. ps the white one looks awesome. ive had mine attempted to be stolen tqice because its exclusive, but noone has succesfully jacked me for my psp. (thank got for football weight-traning)

oh sry if this counts as a double post but i didnt feel like looking for the edit button. i have had trouble doing multiplayer online games with black psp's. the only game ive tried was gta, maybe i was doing something wrong, or maybe its the whole japanese, american thing

I know the white is so eye catchy. Unfortunately i just had to get a black PSP and 1 gig sticks are $25. The white giga pack psp was $320 after tax+shipping and the one i got is $168(black psp).

It's all the same really...if your that keen for an eye catcher...get a new face-plate and buttons! i'd rather have a black psp and homebrew than a white one without it any day! and plus...who really cares...you got a psp...it's an eye catcher anyway! like having a black ferrari and a red one...who really gives a shit what colour it is...its a freakin ferrari!!

mmm white ones are crap, my bro's white psp cuts out when i try and play any gamess via ad hoc. Be in the middle of a game and the wifi will just switch off...and yet the button is still up. get a black one...change the faceplate and all is good!

probably defective
the japanese ones have a better screen than its uk counterpart though
and you relaly should resize that image
