and its all flickery, im using Sonys DVDRW 1x-2x speed writing i think, is that to slow? or am i doing something wrong

Stick verbatim, taiyo yodin or sony made in japan with DVD+R or what like is -r and at 8x and burn at 4x. Don't know if second brand is spelled wrong, but if you stick with that media you won't lose.
