The Max PIE's seem way too high. Your firmware is up to date. Liteon Burners scan in ECC blocks of one, whereas BenQ burners scan in ECC blocks of 8. What does that mean? The score on a Liteon will be much higher on a BenQ, though the number of PIE's/PIF's will be comparable. Nero CD/DVD Speed's quality score is based off Max PIF's. On my burner, a max spike of 5 PIF's would be a 97. Take these scans with a grain of salt. A 90 or better is considered an excellent scan. As long as the playback is good, don't worry about the quality scans. Scan at the speed you burn it btw.

Yeah that looks better. It could be Liteon's pick up more PIE's/PIF's as well, that could account for the discrepancy. Either way, don't worry, playback is what's important.
