Need help WIFi (wlan) can't find other players

After I downgraded to 1.5 I tried playing some of the games with multiplayer but I can't host anyone or when I go into game sharing it will say can't find players...what wrong? The Ad hoc is set to automatic.

it will probs be because ur using and iso and their using a umd. i had the same problem its stupid.

I am able to play with people using real umd's while i am using an iso... so it could be somthing else not sure what though

Ive played Tekken DR iso in ad-hoc mode against my bro and its been fine. It all depends if the game supports infrastructure multiplayer (burnout legends) which means you can play ppl via wireless online.

edit: proevo5 does not have wifi infrastructure mode

My brother and I tried wipeout...both had umds both at first before I launch my game.He was already starting and then my psp started on its on then stopped. Also when I use Devhook I can't use the web brower

All the screen will show is a blank white screen and then the words "contains can not be displayed" shows up...

Do you have a wireless router set up?

if so just go to settings - network settings - infrastructure mode - new connection then let it scan and go through it.

both of you enter the game one set up as host first and other one join lobby...try that

your psp might be fine it could be a good idea to check your brothers psp and set up adhoc and infrstructure mode again
