Im having real problems with devhook 0.44. Ive installed it with the firmware installer, but the always get stuck on the screen with all the different settings. I have to take the battery out of my psp to reset it. I have umd emualtor 0.8c and fastloader on there too, they will load iso's of old games like virtua tennis, but not newer ones like loco roco and pro evo 5. Any help?!?

Use these settings with devhook .44/.45 incase they ever get messed up.
@hodgins
I thought you still had to input the settings on .45.
UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.

I seem to be having problems with this too, Ive downgraded to 1.50 (Whey Hey !!!) and installed Dev-hook, when I run it to run my Genuine UMD games (on the disk) the PSP reboots itself, changed to the grey color scheme and freezes ?
Any Idea's

I guess another question is, how do I play my genuine UMD games when they require a firmware of 2.x now that Ive downgraded to 1.5.
I presume I use DEVHOOK 0.46 but it just doesnt seem to want to work, whenever I reboot it hangs.

Thats exactly what devhook is for but you probably had a couple wrong settings. Hit "O" to cancel the autorun and use the aforementioned settings for a UMD DISC.

Aha!
i cant honestly say what Ive done different but the game has just run.
FANTASTIC THANKS!!!!
Using DevHook this way, will all of my other UMDs work ?
Can I now safely back up my UMD's to keep them safe using a UMD Ripper ? Im not interested in ripping off software - I dont mind paying for a good game as it keeps the industry alive.

@anyth
Yes youre other UMDs will work with devhook. If you would like you can back them up with a ripping program and play the .iso so you dont damage the actual game.
@anyth & ste
You're more then welcome any more problems don't hesitate to ask.
