i need help pls! my psp can't read umds anymore!

i just used the GTA cheat device from psp hacks then after that my psp froze! i tried to remove the battery and turn it on again but my psp couldn't read any UMD after that! pls help me to bring it back to normal!

Well, ummm...thats hapenned to me before, just take the UMD out and put it back in to see if it mounts??

first it was gta lcs and it works fine until i downloaded that cheat device and all of a sudden i noticed that my psp started to make wierd noises then the screen froze after that! and now my psp cant read any umds at all !

try cleaning the laser with a cotton bud but be carefull not to press too hard

Don't tell someone to touch thier laser dude...it could root the thing permanently. Check this out, i helped this guy awhile back...

Nothing happens to the laser if you clean it softly with cotton buds...

Have you deleted the cheat device? Sounds stupid I know but in the world of coding, anything can happen and it usually does.
Firmware - 1.0 > 1.5 > 2.0 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 1.5 > 2.6 > 1.5
I make my own signatures, isn't that an amazing and boring fact for me to put here? Don't PM me with an answer...well you could, give me something to talk about or you would probably be completely rude about the matter....just one more dot? ok ..... . |

i s'pose, but cleaning the laser when the symptoms of the psp don't point to that is stupid...and if he's a noob, its better to not do so.

lol it could just need cleaning as he hasnt said he dropped it or anything to inply the lasers moved out of postion mate
