my cps2 emulator can't load my game. i rename the game into xmvsfur1. it's in zip folder. i can play the game normally on my computer. but when i play it on the psp it loaded everything and then say, "could not allocate REGION_GFX1 memory. try to use sprite cache." what do i need to do?

@blackmagic, I don't know if the cps2 emu is like the rest of the emulators but all of the games have to be zipped in order to work

I read something about it being for arcade games or something but I have restricted web access at work so couldn't actually get onto a site.

oops! false information. my CPS2 emulator won't work on my psp. i want the CPS2 emulator to work on my psp. not on my computer. i can play it perfectly on my computer but not on my psp. is that clear. it keep on saying "could not allocate REGION_GFX1 memory. try to use sprite cache."

wait did u put each folder like this

Step 1: Install the emulator into your PSP - Copy folders ?cps2psp? & ?%cps2psp? into ?\PSP\GAME\? in your PSP. (You can be 1337 and rename them to __SCE__cps2psp and %__SCE__cps2psp but don't need to if your confused bout that).

Step 2: Convert/Cache your CPS2 Roms - Use the provided "converter" program and drag your .zipped roms into "romcnv.exe". (This will create *_cache.zip files in "cache" in the same filder).

Step 3: Install your roms - Copy your roms into "\PSP\GAME\cps2psp\roms" ... if you do not have the folder called "roms" then create it.

Step 4: Install your newly converted cache ? Copy all files in your "converter\cache" folder to your PSP's "\PSP\GAME\cps2psp\cache" folder, again if you do not have this folder create it.

when i dragged the .zipped rom into the romcnv.exe it says:


checking ROM file... (xmvsfur1)
clone set (parent: xmvsf)
loading "x-men vs. streetfighter/xvs.13m"
loading "x-men vs. streetfighter/xvs.15m"
loading "x-men vs. streetfighter/xvs.17m"
ERROR: CRC32 not correct. "GFX1"
Press any button.

after pressing a button the thing close.
did i do anything wrong?
