sorry for sounding like such a noob but i have a new white psp but it isnt a 1.5 nore can i downgrade it dose any one know how i can swith the houseing with my black 1.5?

What firmware is it ? If it's 2.6 or below then yes you can downgrade.
I got another PSP at weekend...a White one from new. It was on 2.6 and downgraded fine...

Get the new PSP, tell us what mobo/firmware it has, and we'll continue this ^^

yeah its just that i have 4 psp's and have to sell all but 1 of them and if any thing i wanna be left with a 1.5 its just i realy want a white one just not sure what firmwire it is yet
