Suggestion for a 2.71 downgrader

i have been thinking of a way to get past the security in the psp,
and i came up with a few idea's, but they sucked.
so, i thought that instead of downgrading it, you could upgrade it to
a earlie firmware.
i asked my brother if he could do it, but he didn't know how to do that, so i thought i'd post it here.
this is just a suggestion, not something i have made.
so, if you could upgrade the psp to a 1.50 firmware, but it would be under the, say 2.80 version. like you take the eboot file from the 1.50,(or the 2.60 i dont really care) and implement them into the 2.80 firmware update. that way you would upgrade your psp to "2.80"
firmware, but it really is 1.50.
and then you could downgrade to 1.00, since the frimware is "updated" and has lost all the security codes.

Wont work mate i dont hink or it wouldouve already been accomplished, the update would be corrupt i think if you had to do that

yeah, but it will work kinda like the "two mem sticks" thing,
only that you have the update files in the eboot file.
and instead of using that crappy method that dosent work,
you simply have the upgrade files inside the 2.80 update.
that way you will "override" the security settings, since the update is recognised as a 2.80.

if you modify any of the files in a update it will become an usigned hombrew app which will not run on 2.8

It would be awesome if that worked but unfortunetly Sony aren't dumb like nintendo =P
Firmware - 1.0 > 1.5 > 2.0 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 1.5 > 2.6 > 1.5

never say never, people said there wouldent be a 2.5/2.6 downgrader...... bt there ya go, the ppl gt one eventually, it just might take a very very very very long time :(

u can play a few flash games thru the web browser.... but not reli worth it :( trade it in for an old psp?! thts ur best bet mite get 2.6 or lower!

question can i play gen and snes games on 2.60 ???? what verison do i have to have so i can install a gen and snes emulator both at the same time, and if its possible will i be able to put neo geo-nintendo 64 emulator as well

you can run the Fanjit eloader on 2.6, you need gta, but it works, and with it you can run every homebrew and other games there is.
and it works, i had it, but upgraded to 2.71 and now it's all shitty.
