go all the way left on ur psp main menu then go to system settings then go to system information it will tell u the version of ur psp if its 1.5 then please dont upgrade ;)

@DRFT, if you have a 1.5 PSP, the firmware is 1.5

If you have a 2.0 PSP, the firmware is 2.0

And so on.

1.5 is the best, as you can do homebrew and run iso.

@Thandakid,

Devhook isn't for running iso's on firmware 2.0 - 2.71, it's for emulating 2.0 - 2.71 firmware on 1.5 firmware.

You can ONLY run isos on 1.5, although it looks like a 2.6 loader might be out soon.
