Hello.

I'm about to buy a new stationary dvdplayer and since the new dvdplayer can play DVD+R and such i've been thinking about to buy a dvdrecorder for my pc.

So here is the deal, i want to have some info about how to burn a dvd that i can play in my stationary player. I want to get help to understand how to burn XviD files so that i can put a few of them on the same dvd. The dvdplayer cant play XviD-files. So i guess i need to convert the XviD files somehow.

I have no experience about burning what so ever, i have a old cdrecorder that seldom used so please be gentle with me. :)
