Cant get ISOs out of 001, 002,003 files.

Can someone link me to a guide on how to get, manage iso or how to make them out of non-.rar.zip. for example i got lik 16 munber files lik 001, 002 and that dont seem to be opened with WinRAR because when i right-click i dont see "EXTRACT HERE". The game is Syphon filter just in came there is another way to get it on my psp and play.

Opening one or all the files with WinRAR did not work because eventhought i got the "SYPHONFT" and the "x" folder that i put in the root of the memory stick and the SYPHONFT and SYPHONFT% folders that i put PSP/GAME, HOWEVER when i try to choose this game but instead there is a "experimental" loader or icon where the real game icon should be.

If you've got a series of files with extentions like 001, 002, 003 or perhaps part01, part02, part03 or somthing like that and you're wondering what to do: (1) Open any of those files manually with WinRAR (it doesnt matter which one) by dragging and dropping them onto WinRAR. (2) Select all the files and extract them somewhere, you may be extracting another set of 001, 002, 003, etc files or you may be extracting a BIN/CUE file. If you are extracting the former, then just repeat this process until you get a BIN/CUE file or soemthing you are expecting. (3) When you've got the BIN/CUE, burn it using Nero or something like that and you're done!

you could always try rebuilding but i dont think that would work
or get a differnt one
last time i had a file like this i had dev hook evolved installed
and that uses the x-folder
ps you really shouldnt double post

Nero wont work
as its a psp game it wont be a bin/cue file
or if it would be i have never seen one
whats in the sythonft folder?

The previous files and folder were in the SYPHONFT, but along with that folder there was a PSP and a "X" folder. the PSP takes me to GAME and inside there two folders SYPHONFT and SYPHONFT%.

well im off to bed now
just drag and drop the files inside the folder onto umdgen
and just save as iso
then load as normal with devhook
hope you get it working

Try joining the number files with HJ-Split. Get it here: http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32
1) Open HJ-Split and click the join button.
2) On the next window to come up press the Input File button, browse to the folder with your number files, pick the first one(.001) and press start to join the files automatically.
3) After it finishes there should be a new .rar file in the same folder as the one your number files are in. Now you can use WinRAR to open this file and hopefully get the correct files you are looking for. Good luck and namaste. :)

You're using the old RunUMD version of Syphon Filter. I recently tried this on a couple of PSP and couldnt get it to work....even though I have used it in the past successfully. Only difference this time is that I have Devhook on my Memory Card rather than UMD Emulator, MPH Loader, etc.....I can only presume that other files were required as I have also tried my RunUMD versions of Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 and Lemmings and these dont work either.
Stick to using ISOs / CSOs....

Oh, and the easiest way to extract .001 .002 .003 etc, files is to open WinRAR first, select all the files within WinRAR and then extract.
You can only right click and select 'Extract' if the files are labelled .r01 .r01 .r03 etc,......
