Hi guys , yeah right dont be surprised but now here is one really newbie question and i think all newbies should really know what it means when on forums of downgraders they say your you PSP *may* GET BRICKED

I can just guess it sounds like a death sentance. so what it means that the PSP will be totally unusable? Can a bricked PSP ever brought back to life ?

Yes it means the psp will be totally unusable unless you install the modchip.

Hello amit well modchip sounds like few more bucks but i live in ludhiana in punjab and so although it is impossible to find any mod chip here but i havent come across any forum or info that a mod chip is available in delhi . SO do you know any place here in delhi .

Basically my problem is i got this psp from canada and it is a T082 v 2.5 firmware and has IC10003 written . So is there any chance to find a solution for this version of psp . Most forums say it would definately brick. And i need homebrew because it aint easy to get psp games here .

Ur best bet would be to buy it online froma retailer who sells worldwide but it would be pretty heavy on the indian pocket coming at around 4300 plus installayion atleast 1000 bucks more!
choose it urself put a little more and try to get a 1.5 from ebay US.

Ok sparsh i dont think i can apply a modchip. I dont think i can first find it than install it etc coz neither i have time for it. I spended $500 on psp last week online. Till than i hadnt seen http://ebay.in and i was sorry why i didnt buy from here. I am avid gamer 26 and now working so i play part time so i i can wait for some downgrader i guess. I hope it dosent end up like gamecube i bought it preordered and damn it could never be hacked .
these companies just patent the damn media itself. so till i get the news that T082 boards psp are hacked i can buy 1 or 2 games from ebay.in it costs rs 2199 so that is only option. I hope it is not totally impossible to break these pain in the ass T082s but some solution is surely needed as the new hardware is based on this and so all newones will have them.

Dude 500$ for a PSP thats really crazy the other option u have is buying a new 1.5 MOBO changing the MOTHERBOARD and the 3rd optiopn is to buy a 1.5 psp and change the mobo from the new one to the present one and then sell the other new one as NEW IN BOX piece on ebay.in or any other ebay!

Hello I just bought a netgear wireless pci adapter WG311 v3

And i am clueless on how will it connect to my psp. even more clueless if wireless network even works this way , Do i need a wireless router ?

I just installed the card but neither psp is detecting nor my computer . I dont know if it really can connect this way any help guys?

hello Sukvail i had recently bought a psp but i was too late to know that it was a T082mmotherboard based psp and it wont play any homebrew or isos. But i was even more late to know that it could brick(aka permanently messed ) so i installed daxiso loader and devhook latest with firmware 2.71 support option.

I was later horrified to know it would brick my system. I had also installed a 2.5 to 1.5 downgrader and i just read some forum and i almost had to switch off to stop it from downgrading .

Now i dont know if somethhing is wrong or the god just didnt wanted to mess up my psp but the dax iso loader and devhook also appeared in the memmory menu. I urn them but i got a message couldn not run iso . So i dont know how to use devhook or dax . Where i am supposed to keep the isos? Please guys dont try this at home. I have heard its impossibl eon T082 and probably i have run the complete installation. better be safe than sorry
