howdy!

ive got my friends 2.6 firmware psp with the intentions of showing him the world of homebrew software. thought i'd use the new(to me anyway!) 2.6 firmware compatable eloader/GTA savegame exploit. having downloaed the relavent files including the 2.6 UMD emulator im having difficulty getting the bleeding thing to work! i get to the point where im loading the eloader savegame in GTA and then.... nothing!!! the game carries on as normal, no eloader menu or error message or anything to let me know where im going wrong? anybody have any idea?

cheers and sorry for the long post!!!

its probably the patched version of gta. you need the unpatched version check this thread out to help identify it.

Ok, try this after GTA:LCS has automatically loaded, press start before the screen becomes clear (when loading the screen starts black as if you were waking up) this method works for me 100% of the time, so if that don't work try the 20 second pause if need be.

Firmware - 1.0 > 1.5 > 2.0 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 1.5 > 2.6 > 1.5
I make my own signatures, isn't that an amazing and boring fact for me to put here? Don't PM me with an answer...well you could, give me something to talk about or you would probably be completely rude about the matter....just one more dot? ok ..... .

the 20 second pause is when you load the save and it asks you if you want to continue, just don't do anything on that screen for 20 seconds and then press yes. That worked on the old versions of eLoader (very first ones actually) so if you have the newest unlike me then you shouldn't have to do any of the things i've mentioned.
Do what hex said, he's usually right about most things =)

i think its the correct motherboard as it doesnt have the specified writting behind the UMD drive door. is there any other things that would potentailly brick this PSP. Its a ceramic white one by the way firmware 2.6

has anyone asked if its a TA-082?
Do you have TA-082 top right when you open the UMD drive? This is a major thing, otherwise it could become bricked.

all i see in the top right is a green motherboard base. no letters, no numbers or anything. i just wasnt sure if the fact it was a ceramic psp would alter anything. ive been off the scene for far too long guys!!!
