well for a start they probally having trouble cracking it,they dont get paid to do it they do it as a hobby so it could take a while as they mite have other stuff to do.

they started decrypting firmwirs and hackers jumped on da firmwire dumps and edited them

the new downgrader that has recently emerged is for psp's with the ta-082 pcb with firmware 2.5 or an upgraded 2.6. still nothing for 2.7 and above tho. although they did find a libtiff that crashes the psp with 2.8, this COULD lead to downgrader but nothing is set in stone yet.

the new downgrader isnt out yet. i believe the coder responsible for it wants to make sure its in almost perfect working condition before he releases it. although he is supposed to release a proof of concept tomorrow.
