Nero just won't burn.

I can't explain it another way. It just won't burn. When I try to burn an image to disc, I get this:

Note the lack of templates on the left side.

After I click "New" I get this:

Oh, and there's no log create, I think. It doesn't actually get to burning.

Re-install Nero to see if that helps

What version of Nero do u have? 7? what 7.?.?.?
Do u have Roxio installed? if so, these could conflict.

What r u trying to burn DVD? CD?

I do not like or recommend this version of Nero. My recommendation is to uninstall it, run this clean tool,http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this older more stable version,7.0.8.2 from here

the version u were using was very buggy, then one ur using now 7082 seems to be the most stable,
have u had any problems with the 7082 version?

No problems with 7.0.8.2. I have actually BURNT anything with it yet, but the pre-burn problems from 7.2.3.2b aren't present, so I assume it works fine.

try burning on a other program..if it doesent work it`s ur drives fault, if does work get a other nere
