cant play original umd against "backed up" iso

hi im not a newb so feel free to talk technical, ive used this forum for all of my questions and it has been extremly helpful, but i have been searching for a few days know on google, psphacks and afterdawn but i have been unable to find my answer.

what i am trying to do is play fight night round 3 against the original umd that i "backed it up" from, i can get into a game and then when i start to select my boxer it says the connection to the other psp is lost, i am using devhook .45 on both psps to run the original umd and the cso file.

is there a special setting i need to play wifi with devhook, i am able to play over the internet with the game just not to other psps, i found another forum which said in opinion format that they think because the umd takes longer to load, that, that might be causeing problems, but no one one the forum had a definate source.

i would be really appreciative if anyone had any info at all that was actually fact not just thought...also since this is my first post plz let me know if i broke any rules....thanks in advance John

When you start Devhook, make sure it boots at 222mhz because otherwise Wifi won't work.

i am booting in 222mhz to run the iso i am selecting iso anyumd, firmware 2.71 is selected, the game runs on internet no problem, when i connect to my friend we can set the game up and when we select boxers it boots me only me, any other ideas?

Ive always had problems like that even with UMDs. EDIT* I think the newer games wont work if you have an iso and the other person has a UMD.

ive just found another thread that says it is most likely problems with programing does that mean even if i had the original it still wouldnt work cause if so thats a f*cking joke sony your games dont link together wtf!, also am i allowed to swear..lol

alrighty thanks alot man i will do that and ill post back my findings....i just need to find someone with an original umd as i do not have one.....well no good ones.....ps thanks for the help i just need to talk things out with ppl.....again i cannot stress enough the fact that everyone on this forum is in fact god, everyone here has helped me so much in the past without even knowing i just wanted to make my voice heard and thank all of you persoanlly...ps i will b posting in the futre alot and i will get back when i get to blockbuster tomorow.

alright i tried socom fireteam bravo, street fighter 3 alpha max, and untold legends and they all work...kicked my friends ass...but fight night still does not work, i read for some games that there is just to much info to be passed around that adhoc is just not fast enough and those are games that would require infrastructure...i believe this analagy because it makes perfect sense, i wanna thank you all who helped me to figure this one out, sometimes you just need to talk it out...thanks again
