i have been burning dvds with nero7 ultra nerovision, the movies look fine when i preview them but after i burn them they turn out really bad crappy quality and they seem ok when they are burning. when i put them in my home dvd player they skip and stop and wont play,is there something that i'm doing wrong? i did'nt say but these are movies that r on my harddrive in various formats. i used to use CloneDVD with no trouble but with these other formats i am unable to do so.i would like to get rid of Nero its giving me to much trouble. i dont know what my options r i would be thankful if someone could help me out thanks in advance

This could be something as simple as changing brand of discs and slowing your burning speed. What brand of discs are you using, what speed are you burning.

i have a hp 740i 16x double layer dvdrw,i burn disks at maximum with compusa 4x DVD-R. i read the post about saving movies with Nero to my harddrive first, i did then i went back and watched what i saved and it was skipping i even used the 2 pass through nerovision.

these are not good quality at all, the media could be the problem,
also always burn at half of what the max speed is.
