I have recently converted a movie file with vso, and burnt to dvd using shrink as I usuallydo, but upon playback in a dvd player the audio is underwater sounding? The burnt disc will play fine thro the pc, but not in standalone player, could this b a fault with the files?

the Player doesn't like the disk... if it plays fine in the PC then there's something wrong why the player wouldn't play the disk properly. what media are you using?

I recently had the same problem with the .avi file Miami Vice. It may be that the format of the file is XviD. The only player in my home that would play the file is my Phillips-DVP5960 or my PC. The Phillips player can play DivX/XviD format files either in there original .avi format or after they have been converted to DVD format after going through ConvertXtoDVD. This could be your problem.

wait for the DVD to come out and it will be easier to copy for you. Downloaded files from the internet takes a lot of time and comes out corrupt(sometimes).

DVDShrink does not have any burning abilities.

I thought you can use Nero to burn right from Shrink?
