DVD wont work when mounted!

Hello all,
I have a problem... i have an ISO file, when its just sitting on my desktop i can open it in VLC and it'll play, but once mounted with a virtual drive or burned VLC wont play it anymore, and my DVD player just frezzes, RealPlayer will play it, but with no sound... What i want todo is play it on my DVD Player, but i cant get past the 1st menu, and jumping scences dosnt help either, it will play like the 1st 2 seconds then freeze... i've played other stuff i've burnt on my DVD Player so i know thats not the problem, but not ISO, only IMG in the past...

What speed did you burn the .iso file at? And what brand of disc did you use?
