hey guys..i hav a psp with 1.50 firmware.....can u help me on 1 thing....i want to use cheat device for gta lcs....i have its iso file...i converted it into .cso and used devhook(2.71) to run it....but it didnt(a black screen appeared and psp switched off)....can u help me on this....i want gta lcs with cheat device in most compressed form....will it work if i use devhook for 2.5 or 2.6.....if so please giv me the links for msroot\dh\2.5\2.6..as i only hav 2.71 thing......thanx......DO REPLY

Im not sure if it will work on a 1.5.. I have the same and wasn't able to access the cheats, so im not sure if someone has figured it out yet or not!

1. The cheatdevice doesn't work with 2.71 firmware
2. Your iso might be corrupted now it happened to me when I cso'd it

i hav a bakup of the iso file but i mean to say that using devhook psp behaves that it is 2.71 so, if i use 2.6 or 2.5 ,,,,will cheat device work and will the game work....
and yeah i want to compress iso's....not into .dax or .cso....

First you need to install the 2.6 files that comes with devhook ultimate installer.
After installing at the devhook menu(before clicking start)choose FIRMWARE:2.6.
Note:gta doesnt work compressed.
Note 2:devhook only works with .cso compression.
Note 3:if you have a small memory stick try running isos via usb.

I don't know if you meant taht CSOs only work with Devhook or that Devhook only plays CSOs, but Devhook can play both ISOs and CSOs.

ok..guys...i dwnloaded devhook for 2.5....i tried other games and psp booted to 2.5....But gta iso crashed.....so,if i convert to .cso....will it work

NO,i said it doesn't work compressed to .cso.
Use the game uncompressed,with the .iso extension.

Yeah i tryed myself and it works.
Download the dh ultimate instaler from psp-hacks.it comes with the 2.6 files.

actualli i dont hav a data cable!!!
So, i want the dh\260 files.....and gta wont work if i use its cso??
if not then how to compress its iso to iso!!!my gta iso is 830 MB...coz i want to put more games in my 1 gb card.....which is the best cheat device!!!!!!!!!

Ok,this is getting confusing.
First,a ripkit is a pack that contain files that will get you iso smaller.in this case(gta),you will get less than 360mb from your iso.
The iso will be about 400mb.You said that you want more games on your memory so this is the ideal.
Second i said to you to download the devhook ultimate installer:

Click on the link to download.
The 2.6 firmware files that will allow you to play the cheat device are there.

I downloaded ripkit!!!i hav a 1 gb card and a card reader....
My gta works fine with devhook(when reboot to 1.50flash)...
please help me!!!i want to use cheat device(i thought cheat device would work when reboot to 2.0+)....i tried devhook for 2.0 and 2.5 with gta and psp crashes!!!!
So,i thought if i try 2.6,game would work with cheat device.....

To use the ripkit:
Create a new folder anywhere
-exctract all the ripkit files to that folder.
-Put your gta iso in the folder too.Rename your iso to a-gtalcs
-Double click on the file dks-gtaf.bat
The process should start.
I think there are no cheats for miami vice.

it creats a 0 kb iso!!!!
(i had earlier used yaumd shrinker(somethin lik dat) on this iso.....has it made any changes)....i hav its original iso as well.....
