im using swapmagic 3.6 with fliptop v4 ps2

my swapmagic dvd is scartched up and takes about an hour to get to the swapmagic menu. I heard theres a way to boot dvd games with the cd version but i cant get it to work.

wat am i doing wrong i put in the cd the menu loads up i press eject it says insert bigger toc disc i then insert an original gta san andreas it says refresh toc then goes back to the menu and says not a valid ps2 disc i open the fliptop and the disc is still spinning i takeit out and put in the backup and press X swapmagic freezes for a lil bit, the disc starts to spin, then it stops and still says not a valid ps2 disc

whenever i let the orginal spin for a lil longer and then swap for the backup, when i press X it flashes red as if its about to load but then the screen just goes to black and the disc stops spinning


wat am i doing wrong? how can i load up my dvd backups with swapmagic cd version?

You need a flip top or magic keys or slide card, if your not using any of those, thats why you get the TOC screen. And i dont think you can play dvd games with the Cd version. try and get the DVD version cleaned.

I think you need to use dvd loader after booting up sm cd and then refresh the toc and after that put in the backup. I remember seeing a thread about this try doing a search.

any1 no for sure if u can boot dvd backups with the cd version of swapmagic?

im using a Fliptop on a fat v4 ps2

thanx for the help so far but i still havent gotten it to work

i have dvdloader on a cd and dvd and cant get either to work

is it just impossible to boot dvd games with swapmagic CD version?
