there has got to be an easy way to hack the 2.8
think about it
sony just gave us a way to get games on it
through the demos
just label a game the way they do the demos
Ps3 60gig

lots of people dont understand that if you modify a signed update or demo it will be unsigned and thus pointless on higher firmwares.

i noticed sumin in 2.80 demos,, it has a .drm file with it,, maybe this is what allows the game to play

Well i vote that it will be done...like street fighter alpha that "apparently" has the built in loopholes to enable easy hacking, hopefully the same developer will do something with a 3.0 game. Or maybe one of the coders at sony will get fired, think that sony are arseholes for it, and release the 3.0 code. Could even be another custom chip...there are a trillion scenario's for way's that the psp can be hacked, but it's useless speculating which one will be used as of yet. These threads are pretty much useless...

Sony's throwing everything it's got at it's Playstation systems this fall. It's basically make or break. Sony will have it's firmwares thoroughly tested and probably airtight. I have a feeling it will take one helluva long time to crack anything 3.0 and above. Remember it took GTA to allow homebrew on 2.0+. Who knows what it will take the second time around.

supastar is right sony now knows that people are trying anything to hack and 3.0 is the future security program for sonys psp so it will be mentally and physically impossible for a few months or years lol who knows
