6th Gen Release Date?

Does anyone have any idean on the release date for the 6th gen ipod? Ive heard holiday '06 but that just seems like an educated guess, since most big things come out around that time.

It hasn't really been announced yet. The 6G iPod hasn't even been announced. Most speculation I've heard is just when the new iPod will be revealed, and that seems to just be in a month, and then when it isn't revealed it just changes to it being revealed next month. I personally don't think it'll make the holidays this year, but I'm pretty certain if it is going to make it, we'll know by mid-September. [not to be making foolish predictions like everyone else or anything...]

Hope it wont be much better than the 5th gen iPod since if it will be I know Ill simply be running to the store to get the new one and spending all my cash on it ^^

Just FYI rumours are that the new iPods might be more like Sony PSP - with this I mean youll be able to play some pretty nice quality games :)
But Im not sure if it will be so in the 6th gen though... Maybe 7th or 8th ^^

I don't think the iPod will ever natively support games, outside of the ones already on it. But thats what Rockbox and Linux are for :)
