I have my psp internet broswer and it has been working ever since ive had it but now when i try to connect it (PSP) to the internet again it says Internal Error and a code what does this mean and how do i fix it

i have a qustion i just bought my psp today and i tryed to connect to internet but i cant turn on the web browser when ever i try to it asks for my for digit code but i never set in a code please help

@DYLAN If you haven't set a code then the default should be just 0000. or just leave it as ----.

@HYDE IF you have a 1.5 then format your mem stick and re-copy the devhook files over, could just be a corrupted devhook file. Also with a 1.5 you may be able to download one of the custom browsers from psp-hacks.com. If not, make sure ur WLAN is turned on, or go to a friends place with wireless router to make sure it ain't your router.

Well if it's internal, it's either you hardware or firmware. I guess you have 3 options.

1. either try a dif router or get a friend to try yours and see whether its just your router or if it is, in fact, your psp.

2. Send it to sony and see what they can to with it.

3. Update your firmware to 2.71 (if 2.7) or 2.8 (if 2.71) to see whether it's corrupted files. Sony will update it if you send it to them anyway.

EDIT: possibly a 4. Open up your psp and see if anything is loose or broken

I'd try the first, then if it is your psp, try the third, then if that don't work, do the second.

actually i still need help i just upgraded it t 2.80 and it sstill not working and i cant do that friend thing cause they dont have wireless routers and i cant open it up cause i might mess it up even more
