can someone find out for me (not me look up) if my dvd players are compatible for VCD and or SVCD??? i've got an

-xbox with dvd player
-RCA RC5215P
-Sanyo DVW 6000

i dunno about the xbox but i dont think the other 2 play svcd, the place to check it http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers

How about a PS2 (that being playstation 2) DVD player. would that play VCDs?

no playstation doesnt play VCD or SVCD! but with a modchip, you can get the ps2 reality player and play divx!
