i want to buy a psp. can i run ISO's on a version 2.6? is there a hack? or shall i just get a psp 1.5 version or 2.0 version and downgrade it?

please hurry up so i can decide which one to get for my birthday.

your gonna need 1.5

try to get a 2.0 or 2.5/2.6 without a TA-082 mobo.(stickied)
then downgraded it(threads here) then it will play homebrew.
Also 1.5 can be more expensive.

just get a one that can be downgraded,make sure its not a ta-082,theres a sticky on it.you need a 1.5 to run isos so it have to be one you can downgrade

One with a letter G or lower on the side of the box. This only applies for the value pack though. G is 2.01 with can be upgraded to 2.5 and downgraded. If you buy a factory 2.5 or higher it will be a TA-082. D,E, and F are all 2.0, C is 1.52 (I just got one :) B is 1.51 and A is 1.50.
