DVD to PSP help needed

I have tried in vain to successfully convert bits of a region 1 dvd to play on my UK psp. i have used PSPvideo9 for all of my conversions in the past and its great, BUT it dosnt like region 1 dvd files, as it overlays a crackling sound onto the audio. HOWEVER, i have tried XILSOFT MP4 converter and it works fine but it doesnt create a THM file. and therefore dosnt have a thumbnail on the PSP list. I have dvd decrypted the DVD files and used shrink to rip the segments i want to convert to PSP. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE. its really got me beat,

I use Xvid4PSP to convert all my DVD's to MP4, or any other format the PSP can read. It's updated regularly and I find it really easy to use, Its also free.

The latest is 4.23, good app allright alot of bugs have been ironed out.
I use it myself to encode PMP\AVC 480x272 res movies for my PSP,and play them using Jonnys PMPMOD AVC. :P
