I think my little brother has managed to take my psp back to a shop today instead of his own (neither were faulty). I want to know if the serial numebrs on the box so I can try to match up wether mine is mine and also because hes really worried because he had to give our address in and thinks there going to come after him (bless him hes 10:)) if hes handed in the wrong one.

voltage stuff
then two numebrs under barcodes....will it be one of those?

You should spank the bad child. :) Only joking, follow what Josh said. you should keep the one that has lower firmware. On the side of the box they'll have a letter from A-L. Anything below G is good.

No letter = 1.0 (Japanese Release) 1.5 (North-American release) confirmed
A = 1.5 confirmed
B = 1.51 confirmed
C = 1.52 confirmed
D = 1.52 confirmed
E = 1.52 confirmed
F = 2.0 confirmed
G = 2.01 confirmed
H = 2.50 confirmed
I = 2.60 confirmed
