ok i need internet help
the wlan switch is on
when i scan it says
SSID Security Signal Strength
linksys None 100%

do i do Adress setting easy or custom
if custom do i say use or do not use Proxy Server
and if use do i leave adress blank?

after that i save it
it connects to acess point and it gets an ip address
then i try to play ppl online or go to a web site it say
Communication with the server failed
A DNS error has occurred
(80410410)
what should i do

1. Easy Setting
2. Don't use Proxy Server
3. Just don't use the Proxy Server option.

So you used the Easy option and saved your wireless info on the PSP? What happen's when you try to test the connection.

it still says signal strength 100%
but at the bottom of the list it says
Internet Connection Failed

what do i do
or what else do you want to know

Check your modem. Sometimes the signal is strong but the modem that's feeding it is recieving a weak internet signal.

Make sure you have put your security in properly e.g. your WEP or WPA key. It won't connect if you have not inserted those correctly. I usually just turn my security off when connecting my psp, makes it much easier.

Also, if your getting a signal from your neighbours router as well as your own, 2 connections will show up on the psp and you can choose which one to connect to.

i took mine off a while ago so its def my neightbors
and i dont have wep or wpa on cuz i dont have the code

So your teying to connect to your neighbours wireless?? If you are and have no WEP/WPA/WPA-TSK for their router your stuffed.
