Not sure if i can post about this (please dont ban me).

Lets say I have a file that has CD1 folder thru CD4. Within these folders are files called kota.001 - kota.051. CD2 has files kotb.001-kotb.053 and so on. There is also 1 .svf file in each CD. I read that i am supposed to use Daemon Tools. I have WinRAR am i supposed to rename all of the files to .rar? If someone could please help me out.. or send me to a site that has a totorial or something? Sorry for being such a noob.

Thanks

download 7-zip, open it and go to folder cd1, click the first file and click the extract button on top

I don't think there's anything wrong with saying how to extract files is there? (to the mod's)

Plus, try to get all you can the legit way, but as most people don't, don't come here askin for it.

Thanks for the reply 21Q.
Unfortunately I tried figureing it out and renaming all the .001 ect files to .rar and screwed up all the names so i deleted them figuring Azureus would download the pieces i was missing, but i guess that doesnt work. So i deleted the whole thing... Sigh.. Guess ill try again
Anyone know of any tutorials on these basics.. how does everyone else learn... you were all noobs at some point.

Lol, try the search button next time!

And as for a tutorial to teach you everything you need to know for n00bs, click the first link in my sig and grab the BT Bible.

All you had to do was right click on the lowest numbered .rar ( could be .rar, or .001) and choose "Extract here", and you'd be taken care of.

Also, avoid Daemon Tools. The free version comes w/ adware now.

Good luck!
And don't be so self depricating.
