what do u mean u have to boot from the cd? just remove all cds from the pc and try booting again or press f8 or f11 or f6 to select which device to boot from

i would NOT touch whats in that pic no it cant be tweaked that is used to add an option to select which windows to boot from ex if u have win xp and win 98 that is the code that gives u an option of which os to load

elokito is correct.

Can you give more info as to why you need to boot from a cd/dvd? Maybe we can help you fix that problem.

Some Boot problems can be solved via BIOS. What kind of problems do you have?

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

When I start up, it goes through the memory information and the IDE Channels and all that stuff. It gets to the point of "VErifying DMI Pool Data..." and directly under that it tells me "boot from CD/DVD." So I put in my Windows Xp Pro CD and I need to restart the computer. Once it restarts it goes through everything again, the memory info, IDE Channels, PCI Identification, and then It goes to the Boot screen " windows is loading" and it brings me right to my log on screen. I can then take out the CD and run it without any problems.

I tried to fix this already, I was thinking it was something with the Jumpers or cables, but I put my HD on the first IDE Channel and set it to master. Then I took my two DVD drives and put them on the second IDE Channel and pushed those both to Slave. Even in BIOS, I have my HD set to the first boot device and the CD/DVD is second.
