Yes, u could burn a game but it will not play on the PS2 unless u have a Swap Magic or a modchip. Or have to be a factory pressed game. In Asia they tend to have alot of pressed games thats not made by SONy which is cheaper. But then again games from China, Japan... would not work in US

If you didnt know that you need a mod chip or swap magic, i would recommend researching before you post on this site. Considering this site contains everything you need to know. If you did know you need a chip or swap magic, there are guides on how to burn ps2 games everywhere. just search!

I know about the Mod Chip, the Boot Disc, and about the programs. I don't know of anyone that's ever copied one, tho. It's gonna cost about $80.00 for just the Mod Chip, and the program. I don't think that I could put the Mod Chip in without screwing up my PS2...has anyone here ever installed the Mod Chip?

if your gonna spend 80$, id recommend sending it in to www.teammodders.com , and having them install it. the chip plus installation will be about 80-90$, depending on the chip. i think a good matrix infinity green dot is like 40$. you dont have to buy any programs. once you get it installed, read the sticky's for instructions how to burn a game.

Thanks for the info. I found a Mod Chip for $13.95. I also found out some things about my PS2 that I didn't know about it.
The reason some Mod Chips don't work with all PS2, is because you need a certain type of chip, for certain versions of PS2.
