im at college right now, and ares doesnt want to find a connection, and i tried to download bittorrent but nothing worked either, so i was wondering if there was somekind of way i could go around w/e the skl has. i dont know my isp but the way i connect to the net is using an ethernet cable that plugs right into a wall jack. any ideas are much appriciated
Talk to the school's IT people and see what port you could use for data transfer...
But be aware that most schools prohibit P2P and bittorrent use, so the chance of them allowing you to use their network for downloading will be VERY slim.
There usually is, but it's not one you'll be able to use unless you get friendly with the people that run the IT...
Or unless you know how to bypass it yourself...
