Can someone help me set up Doom on my PSP. What are Doom WADS and how do they work? Can someone giv me a link to a full setup with these WADS?

Doom WADS are simply the packed files that contain all the data for the level designs, there are millions of different WADS out there, both commercial and those written by fans of the game.
