I am using Ifoedit 0.91 to take out a menu so I can burn a DVD to DVD-R.

I have read almost this entire forum plus looked at other websites. I have the DVD ripped and removed all the menu junk, that was not a problem. My problem is creating the image. I keep getting the error "Can't locate IMGLIB.DLL". I downloaded the DLL but the IFOEDIT doesn't seem to find it. I read in a prior write up that dRD said to put in the same directory as Ifoedit so I tried that and it still won't work.

Has anyone had this problem and figured out a solution or does anyone know of another freeware software package that will create an image with the VOB files???

Thanks for any assistance you could give me.

Bob

hi Wilsobo,
I had the same problem with version 0.91. It only has one file ifoedit.exe and i couldn't make an image with it, even not after i putted the file imglib.dll in the same folder like you did.
I installed the previous version of ifoedit, version 0.9 and that came in a package. When you install that you will see that there will be a folder in the map where ifoedit.exe. In that folder is a file called imgtool.exe. Just open that file to make a .img file. You don't need to open ifoedit to make an image, just use imgtool.exe to make the image. It works fine.
If you want i can send the file to you.

Thanks DVDLOVER1

Yesterday I found a place to download that file. Took it home and created the image ok. The problem I am running into now is I tried to use NERO to burn the image to DVD+RW but for some reason NERO wouldn't do the job. I need to do some research and find a good package that will work with .img files. Do you have any suggestions??? What do you use???

Bob

I use Prassi Primo DVD 2.0 to burn the image files to DVD-R. I don't have a DVD+RW drive. But i think the program can handle DVD+RW also.
