2.7 downgrader

Just some quick info for you:

"Downgrading" is going from a higher firmware such as 2.71 to a lower firmware such as 2.0. "Upgrading is going from a lower firmware such as 2.1 to a newer/more advanced firmware such as 2.8. The higher the firmware numbers are, the newer they are.
Also as has been posted before, there is no 2.9 firmware.

There is no firmware 2.9. The newest firmware is 2.8.
Also going from 2.7 to 2.9 would be called upgrading.

I really think this guy is just trying to get his post count up. Once again someone else is going to say something already previously said. There is no firmware 2.9. Going from to firmware 2.7 to 2.9 would be upgrading but there is no 2.9 to upgrade to. You can downgrade some psp's to 1.5 to play backups and homebrew games but there is downgrader for 2.7. I say again There is no 2.7 downgrader.

2. You can't "downgrade" to a higher firmware, much less one that doesn't exist.

first it was street riders now hes saying another game. did someone use a version changer on your psp to say it had a different firmware version or something because there is no 2.9

I'm thinking maybe that's what somebody did, probably so that they couldn't/wouldn't accidentally upgrade to 2.7-2.8. But if that's the case, I would have no clue how he actually updated to the real 2.7 firmware though.

Someones either testing our patience or someone is trying to get their post count up. I think its the post count because i reading a lil more in detail at what he is saying and he keeps sayin i wanna downgrade to 2.9 so i can play this game. Well the game name keeps changing, hes mentioned at minimum of 4 games. Then he starts a thread about a possible exploit for firmware 2.8 and lower. Is it just me or does it not make any sense.

I was thinking the first one. But I was more or less thinking an admin or a mod. I might just be "paranoid". Who knows, who cares.
