i haven't been able to log into bitsoup for days now. they seem to accept my request for a password change, they sent me a confirm and reset link, but no new password arrives. i have tried 100 times, and yes, i have lowered all my hotmail junk settings to allow every POS wackos like to send. i would REALLY like to know what has happened to my Bitsoup account...I loved that place!
toon, i KNOW how u feel bro. don't worry, i have the fix.
MY prob was that hotmail would not allow the email that contained the reset password... all other EMs were ok. i was pulling my hair out for a week!
i cant help much, and all the mods are out playing in the sunshine, so what u need to do is what i did... go get on IRC (a simple chat proggy) and get to the bitsoup channel. u will find a mod there (or anyone) who can get u ur temp password and pass it to u. i cant seem to find the channel name now, but it's just bitsoup.org or ???, just search it, i found it fairly fast.

stuart, this thread is intended for emergency use if a bitsoup member loser their reset password and cannot retrieve it through their email.
i dont know what revolutiontt is, but im sure the poster can help with it... or the forum that pertains to that type of question.
as for mIRC, its just an ancient and alternative chat program that will ALWAYS be around. Everyone is usually accessable through it, and thats how u can get to ur bitsoup password.
just start mIRC and goto the bisoup addy listed earlier in this thread. there should ALWAYS be someone monitoring it... drop in and 'Hi' them, and give them some time to see it (it can be a bit slow). they will help with ur problems
