my psp dsk reader won't read umd disks and makes a stuttreing noise please help

did u drop ur psp?? try using another umd disc.

no i didn't drop the psp i turned the psp off using the off switch and when i turned on it could not read umd disk it does every thing eles except read umd disks

kk.. try this.. if you have psp 1.5

emulate the 2.71 firmware using devhook.. and load umd on that.
just a thought!!

somehow i think u broke your psp umd slot but it's not because u turned off ur psp. i remember that there was a forum here once that happened to somone. on the search bar atop, type umd slot.

elasu, he said that the umd slot makes shuttering noise when he tried to run it. which means that it couldnt be the program issue but a physical issue.

probely the umd trays just loose it happend to me i opened up my psp and titend it
