If you're using Swap Magic, you'll need to use CDLoader as an additional swap to get it to boot properly.
Get CDLoader from http://www.swapmagicfix.com

Odd, I downloaded it and it works perfectly with Swap Magic 3.6. Which version are you using?

how do you use it? I burned one of them and it said eject disc and put in other disc and press x, I did that and it said invalid disc. At the bottom it said USB???
I know some people hate to give a step by step instruction on what to do, but if you could that would be very cool of you.
One more thing. which game should I pick on the site? Only Final Fantasy I saw there was X.

If you dont have swap magic 3.6, chances are that you need to update. Maybe the game isnt supported for old versions of swap magic. Your not missing anything anyway. Coming from a FF fan, your not missing much, but thats not the point.

You know, CDLoader does come with instructions on how to boot DVD games with it! But for those of you that couldn't be bothered reading/downloading those;
1. Load Swap Magic CD
2. Use Swap method to put in CDLoader & press X (once loaded, note it says 'Media: PS2CD' in bottom left corner)
3. Press eject on ps2 or triangle on pad to eject tray (media type will disappear)
4. Put in Swap Magic DVD or Large TOC original DVD game, close tray.
5. Wait til media message in bottom left comes back, and says 'Media: PS2DVD'. Press X.
6. On 'EA Method' Screen, use Swap Method to put in FFVII: DOG backup, then press & hold X until screen disappears. Game will load.
Any questions? No? Good!

And thats why older versions of SM suck.....using Zoneloader and CD loader. Works flawlessly with 3.6 as do all other DVD-5 games. Im a FF junkie, and must admit, DOC really isnt that good. Only redeming value are the cutscenes, Square never disappoints there.

i quite enjoyed the game
if you are using 2.0 and its for the for-seeable future i would upgade to 3.6 due to the use of loaders there just so many of them but 2.0 dose work very well

Just a question. Anyone know what size the original DVD game is? I'm talking ISO size.

Yeah......These files ARE the rar files, you are extracting an ISO from these files...beyond correcting what you just said, I have no idea in hell what you are trying to get at. The way it is compressed isnt going to make a difference after burning the ISO.
