i cant understand the 2.0 downgrader.. cuz a psp can read tiff files like jpeg,, but then how come the tiff file on the 2.0 doengrader restarts the whole psp,,
please sum1 explain how the tiff file works

well, hers what i think lol, the buffer in the photo section is there to control the amount of data being read, like a resistor in a circuit :-/ lol, then say that the buffer can control up to 250 data being let through, the tiff photo contained 251 pieces of data so the buffer couldnt control it and overflowed letting all/any data through, and letting the code ( i dont know what this is by the way) for the downgrader to come into play, sorry if its hard to understand, and it may be a bit wrong lol,

that only works on 2.0. Thats why 2.01 game out the day after with no new features.

actually ibraduea,, dats not true,, sonyxteam have nearly done a 2.80 downgrader using the same way the 2.0 downgrader worked.. but they have a different tiff file.

Well I don't know if it's Sonyxteam and I sure as hell don't know if it's a downgrader, but a new exploit for 2.8 is currently in the works.
