Hi all I've searched through the forum and tried so many things but noone of them have been succesful.
I Have recently brought a WIFIMAX and i can pick the signal up ect 100% and when i test it, it goes through it all ok but when it comes to going on the internet and it loads and takes ages then comes up with :

Communication with the server failed.
A DNS error has occurred.
(80410410).

I think my some of the IP address and all that information is screwed up?

Can any one help , i have tried searching and i have tried the information they psoted but it didnt help?

i really really hate to say this but for the price of the wifi max you could have bought a wireless router and had signal strength 100 times as strong and no problems with it also. LOTS of people have problem's with this product. bout the only thing u can do is get closer to the router and manually entering the dns server into your psp.

How do you find out your DNS? I've tried typing the Command prompt thing? Because when i did it , it didnt work.

What kind of wireless routers would you recomend? Around the same price as the WIFI MAX?

there are i think 2 threads that are stuck on the top of this forum on how to put dvds on ur psp, u also need a big memory card

as for routers id say go with a G router as that wud be the fastest ur psp will work with N router is just a wast if u ask me. 56 mbs is a good speed but if u want to stream videos and such get a 108 mbs router. netgear and d-link are good brands, if u get something refurbished be sure u have atleast 1 years warenty :P

price shud be somewere around 60-70 canadian
