psp memory stick

my memory stick all of a sudden said corrupted data and my emulator has gone off it, so i tried to format the stick and it said no memory stick inserted, could anyone explain what happened?

you should find a memory card reader for your pc and try to format it on that.

were did u get the memory stick, it mite be fake
try removing and reinserting it

just cuz its a fake dont mean it dont work
i have a fake 2 gig {30 bux} and they last me bout 2 months or so until they break
a 4 gig is like 40 bux so for me its worth buying fakes over and over, i think they last longer if there are several smaller files that 1 big one as my music ms has been working for bout5 months no problems
edit: if u go around in chinatown u can get bout 10 bux for a broken ms :P who knows wat they do with them, lol

i bought it off ebay, i dont think its fake as ive checked the guide although it could be as the number on the back ends in N when im told officials end in S, although i cant be certain

wat brand is it, if the lable is a sticker its usualy a fake, so is the n
real memorysticks usualy have the name and size printed directly on the stick, not a sticker
how much did u pay?

the same thing happened to me b4 just check a diffrent stick on the psp and if any thing just reboot the psp with the card already inside

oh ok lets hope it works it did for me my stick is fake but like we all know it dosent realy mater that is if you get a good one

the name is printed on not stuck on? how do you restart it with the card in do you just turn the power on and off

yeah mines peels of and to restart i ment reboot just leave the memory card in the system them hold the power up for about 10 secounds or till it shuts of then start it back up worked for me

neither worked for me i think its safe to ay my memery card is fucked, just another question why do these cards fuck up and is there an easy way to fix them?

I dont think they are fixable have you got any nooby friends who you dont really like who own the same size card as yours switch it with theres :D

try diping a cutton swap in some alcahole and wipe thw memory stick socket of the psp it might be dirty
