Fit more than one PS1 iSO on a DVD? (and more)

I've got a mod chip in my PS2, and I've got some PS1 iSO's on my computer. Now, I have a few questions:

If I burn a PS1 iSO to a DVD and put it in my modded PS2, will it play? Does this depend on the modchip?

Can I put more than one PS1 iSO on a single DVD (due to DVD's being pricy and PS1 iSO's being small), and somehow put a loader on it so it will let me choose which one to boot?

You hacve to burn Ps1 to CD's. Ive seen people say that you can put multiple ps2 games on a dvd, but i have yet to see it mysel.f but you can put multiple Ps2 cd games on a dvd
