Hi guys I have a movie that I would like to put on my PSP I converted it using X-OOM. The file converted to a MP4 but when I load it on to my PSP it dosn't show when I go to video on my PSP. I put the file in the MP_ROOT and then 100MNV01. Can anyone please tell me what I might be doing wrong.

the movies have to have a special name for them to show up. when you used it did it rename it to something like m4v00001.

the psp can only read the video if its named to something like M4V91713. try using this program http://www.nurs.or.jp/%7Ecalcium/3gpp/3GP_Converter034.zip

i already said that and he already has a movie converter. now we have to determine if the movie is named right. and if the movie converter is even viable for the psp.

No I didn't rename it, but the last time I did it, it came up as "New Movie" and it worked. I'll try to rename it, what should I name it?

in order for movies to show up they have to be named m4vxxxxx. change the x's to any five numbers of your choice.

i would go with fireman and get the 3gp since it dosent take up much space and changes the name for you even gives you the movie icon saves me a lot of time and i love the free part lol

no one wants to go with somethin free after they payed for it. although if you were to pay for a .mp4 converter Nero 7 is king.

yeah 3gp is prolly one of the best free converters. what i first used and its never given me a problem.
